Dolce Vita Italian Grille

We live in Livonia but have family in Toledo and Newport and Monroe. Even if we aren't meeting family we will make the drive. This place is amazing. Fabulous food and great atmosphere. You can't miss with any dish you order. Love!

They have a new chef. Food is tasting much better. They need to work on the bread. It was the best when it was a pizza type bread and when they gave you olive oil to dip it in.

Staff and management were attentive. Barmaid, Chautel was mixing up the new Martini Night menu. It has changed a slight bit. But, it's all tasty once correct mixes, lol. Thank you for a nice night. Welcome home, to FUNroe MI.

I loved this place. Ive only been here once but it was great. The menu had many options and the atmosphere was very cool. I would go again its just out of my way.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner. The filet was exquisite, risotto, French onion soup and salad with champagne dressing. Warm freshly baked bread. EVO dipping sauce with a balsamic reduction. Perfection. Excellent place to eat. Excellent service.

Good pizza, good beer and the chicken wings were excellent. Waitress was very friendly. In all, it was a 5 star experience. Thank you.

Amazing atmosphere and the most delicious food. The staff and owners of the establishment are always so kind and courteous when I've gone for meals with friends and family. I definitely recommend it to anyone and everyone.

the food got a lot better then it was a year ago.

Food was good! Service was slow. Servier had difficult time bring Bill back with correct receipt.

Very scrumptious cuisine. Beautiful decor. Clean restrooms. Pleasant aromas emanating from the kitchen. Chestnuts roasting in an open fire. But, not as good as Angelo's.

Love the new look and the classic Italian food is delish! Can't say enough about how awesome the fresh Italian cuisine, but extremely upset they took out the sushi. The sushi was the best we had in town and was the main reason I went there. I will still be a loyal customer forever and always, but couldn't give them 5 stars for this Epic Fail.

We had a special event here, and it was very well handled. They were courteous, attentive, and friendly. The meal was family style and exceptionally tasty. Our drinks were always filled, and they had extra napkins and things on hand for my tiny mess maker. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Absolutely the best Italian cuisine, right here in Monroe! From the excellent wait staff, to the lovely décor, and ambiance. Everything which we have ordered, from the appetizers, main course, and dessert has never disappointed! Ed and I highly recommend Dolce Vita, to everyone! LOVE!!!

Chef rob nailed it from the brussel sprouts to the ribeye and the fresh made pasta in a spicy gulf shrimp amazing

The Brussels sprouts were out of the world. The best I have ever had. We asked for more but we were at a party, and they had 9 courses.

Chef Rob does an amazing job. Really enjoyed our food and great atmosphere. We'll be going back. Highly recommended!!

My pork chop was very good, my wife pasta on the other hand was terrible. I will chalk it up to a bad day. Maybe the chef was sick as they have always had very good food. Service was subpar as well however I had never seen this server before either maybe first day.

Absolutely love the new menu and all of the changes happening here! The remodel looks fantastic. Love that the pastas are now made from scratch. Monroe is certainly lucky to have Chef Rob Campbell. Great date night spot!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is perfect for a romantic date night or a fun night out with the girls. Chef Rob has made this a place to be with his innovative menu and fresh ingredients. Can’t wait to go back!

Good food and atmosphere, but slow service.

One of my favourite dine in places in Monroe. Other than Italian they serve good sushi too.
